Chihuahua

Small dogs seem related to the history of Mexico, since we found on Maya temples, carvings of dogs attending religious ceremonies. The Chihuahua is the direct descendant of the Toltec Techichi (10th century). It owes its name to its region of origin.

Before arriving in Europe after the Second World War, it passed by the United States, where he was registered as an official race in 1904.

It was not until the 1960s to see the first subjects in France.

Note that the Chihuahua is one of the smallest dogs in the world. Although there has long been the long-haired Chihuahua is it acknowledged that since 1952.

It's a dog compact body, short and firm, with a body almost square and very muscular. He has a rounded head, which is a typical feature of the chihuahua breed. He rounded the front at the muzzle.

The muzzle is short, it is wider at its base with a pointed tip. The ears are large and separated from each other; wide at their base, they are reduced gradually until end slightly rounded at the tip.
